MOVEMENT MEDICINE FOR YOUR BODY, MIND & SOUL
Ecstatic Shaking is a fun, dynamic movement practice for stress-release, self-empowerment and enhanced wellbeing.
Combining the highly transformational embodiment techniques of shaking and ecstatic dance; move, breathe and play into a deeper connection with your body and self, and release profound shifts in your emotions, energy and stress levels.
Rooted in ancient wisdom, and yet incredibly relevant for these modern times, Ecstatic Shaking is a healing, liberating experience. It is essential therapy, freedom and medicine for your entire being.
Shaking is your body’s natural mechanism for releasing and relieving stress, tension and trauma safely and effectively. Have you noticed how your body trembles after you experience a shock? We are all born with this self-healing ability yet have mostly forgotten how to, or learnt not to, trust our own body’s innate wisdom.
The fundamental key to shaking is to LET GO.
Let go of your thoughts, let go of your worries, let go wherever you notice that you are holding on, let go of everything that is not serving you. Shaking liberates you and opens you up to new levels of vibrancy, freedom and space in your body, mind and emotions.
Shake it up, shake it off and shake it out!
We have been dancing since the beginning of time. Dance is a brilliantly diverse, universal language that connects us across all cultures, age groups and music genres.
In ecstatic dance, or ‘conscious dance’, you are invited to become curious, to play, and to move as freely as you wish in each moment. It is not choreographed, nor is it a performance, and there’s no expectation for you to be ‘a good dancer’.
We all have our own unique rhythms and our own wonderful ways of expression.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
We forget how to play, shake, dance, move to release. Lalita guides you back to that remembering deep within us so joyfully and then really gently holds the space for you to absorb what that means. She brings an awareness to what you're really needing in the moment, what comes up will be different for everyone.
A profoundly healing experience that I'm forever grateful for.
